RUNNING WITH DREAMS

We are witnessing the building blocks of trust. Just like the bridges, we are building, strong foundations of trust that are the building blocks in relationships. Friendships require strong foundations in common interests. When trust is not there to demonstrate the strength of the relationship, the relationship will fail. We are building foundations we are building bridges built to bear the stress and never fail. This allows the young minds to be open to limitless possibilities.

We have spent significant learning on personal accountability, that the team concept has being introduced, accepted and embedded. At Michigan YIP our Ethos and All-In have become part of our embedded decision-making process. It is easy to readjust one’s paths when it’s placed in context to the ethos. The redirection is purposeful and meaningful. This opens the mind to be big and dream big as a team and to do bigger achievements way for the betterment of the community beyond self-interest.

Getting to this point has been challenging at Michigan YIP, as in previous years pre-COVID-19 it wasn’t as challenging. This year’s journey has provided us with a total program opportunity to really reflect on our purpose and enjoy the abundance of impacts we have had along the way. We are making tremendous impact in the lives of the youth from Detroit who have joined us. We have created well-rounded decision-makers and game-changers for their betterment and for them and for our communities.
