Our Northwestern Role Models, Mentors, & Heroes Begin Their Season!
The 2016 college football season is here! From NU Sports News, the Northwestern Wildcats will open play Saturday, Sept. 3, at Ryan Field against Mid-American Conference West Division favorite Western Michigan.
Northwestern YIP Student Athlete, Anthony Walker was voted a team captain for the 2016 season! Walker was a consensus All-Big Ten selection and All-American by AP & Sports Illustrated after leading NU with 122 tackles and finishing fourth in the country with 20.5 tackles for loss.
Below is the roster of our lead Northwestern YIP Student Athletes that served as mentors, teachers, heroes, and role models in making a permanent difference in the young boys lives this past summer.
