Hawaii YIP Teacher Joe Leikus – Opening lesson at the University of Hawaii Honolulu (7/22)

We start from principle and vision to build character, courage, and trust to lead. The essence of social change is coupled with our ethos and propelled by a common purpose with complete community support.

We are holding our 39th YIP program outside in the Hawaii Baseball Stadium enclosed for both class and fieldwork. We have divided up into three groups with an abundance of Hawaii Student-Athletes, Soldiers, Marines, ROTC (40) surrounding our youth from our Honolulu community. Community leaders such as Hawaii First Bank, Roy Yamaguchi, Roberts, and the Marcus Mariota Foundation have come out to support our common cause to change the trajectory of each participant in our program.
